Fault Phenomenon 1: The dehumidifier shuts down quickly and takes a long time to restart, resulting in poor dehumidification.

  • Fault Inspection: Measure if the air speed at the vent is below normal; check if the fan motor's electrical resistance is abnormal.

  • Repair Method: If the fan motor's coil is short-circuited, replace it with a new fan motor.

  • Cause Analysis: Poor heat resistance of the compressor and reduced speed of the fan motor lead to overheating protection of the compressor, requiring a long cooling period before restarting.

Fault Phenomenon 2: The unit operates normally but the dehumidification amount is small.

  • Fault Inspection: Check the evaporator to see if only a few U-shaped tubes have condensation; check for refrigerant leaks.
